matchmaking is a tough business, just ask emma from…well, fromemma. after one successful match, she took herself to be an expert. as the story unfolds, the barely 20 year old emma attempts at matching up the lovely people of highbury. as you can imagine, in a somewhat midsummer night’s dream situation, love matches get crossed and all around hilarity ensues. in the end, all is set right and even emma, who swore she’d never married finds a husband. leave it to jane austen. anyway i always thought of emma as a light-hearted and charming character…naturally, her style would reflect that.
